Your trip leader will meet you a day before and provide a pre-trip briefing, advising on attire and recommending water bottles, with each participant receiving a dry bag for personal belongings.
DAY 1
- **09:00 AM:** Pick-up from your accommodation.
- **09:30 AM:** Arrive at Victoria Falls. Receive a safety briefing and rafting gear (helmet, life jacket, paddles).
- **10:00 AM:** Spend an hour exploring different angles and sites of Victoria Falls.
- **11:00 AM:** Hike down to the gorge and board rafts. Learn paddling techniques and safety measures.
- **12:00 PM:** Paddle upstream to view the falls from below. Swim in the natural pool beneath Victoria Falls.
- **01:00 PM:** Guided walk on basalt rocks for views of the falls on both Zambian and Zimbabwean sides. Experience catch and release fishing.
- **02:00 PM:** Lunch below the falls, followed by a 30-minute relaxation break.
- **03:00 PM:** Begin rafting adventure with Class 5 rapids, including Devil's Toilet Bowl, Gullover Travelers, Midnight Dinner, and the challenging Class 6 rapid, Commercial Suicide.
- **05:00 PM:** Navigate through the last rapid, the Gnashing Jaws of Death.
- **06:00 PM:** Reach Songwe Camp. Enjoy a cold local beer upon arrival.
- **07:00 PM:** Dinner around the bonfire. Share stories and unwind with drinks.
DAY 2
Morning:
- Breakfast with coffee and tea
- Exciting rapids including Overland Truck Eater, The Three Sisters, The Mother, and more (Class 5)
Lunch:
- Break between rapids Terminator and Judgement Day
Afternoon:
- Continue journey, 40 minutes post-lunch
- Reach Bbob Camp below Rapid 21 for overnight stay
- Unique spot with beautiful beaches and a chance to sleep under the stars along the Zambezi.
Day 3
Prepare for a day teeming with adventure as we set out on a thrilling rafting expedition through the challenging narrows and exhilarating chimamba rapids. The journey promises heart-pounding excitement and breathtaking scenery as we navigate the twists and turns of the river.
DAY 4
A day filled with nature's wonders and team spirit. The morning kicks off with a hearty breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the day's adventures. As the sun ascends, painting the sky with hues of warmth, the group gathers for a delightful floating lunch, creating unforgettable memories against the backdrop of serene waters.
Our journey continues to the upper and lower Moemba Falls, where we decide to set up camp for the final night. This strategic spot offers a perfect blend of tranquility and breathtaking scenery, ensuring an amazing experience with the natural wonders that surround us.
As the day gracefully transitions into night, anticipation builds for the grand finale – a spirited bonfire. This cherished tradition marks the peak of our expedition, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration. Laughter echoes, stories are shared, and bonds are strengthened as the party unfolds under the star-studded sky.
Day 5
This is the last day, we start with coffee and tea then breakfast. You will raft to the dam site and lunch will be saved before you start hiking up the gorge.
The drive from the dam site to Livingstone town is about an hour .You will drive through the villages before we reach Livingstone town and drop you at your hotel.
