Zambia has about 72 tribes each unique in its own way yet we cannot talk about all of them. We will pick a few major ones such as the Kuomboka Ceremony of the LOZI which signifies the end of the rainy season. During this ceremony the litunga and is subjects dress in Victoria costumes and get in canoe accompanied by traditional music, the ceremony is done every month of May. The UMTOMBOKO ceremony is for Luba and Lunda people, they gather to celebrate their coming into Zambia from kongo every July.
